The Floor
Players are invited to step onto The Floor, in the world’s most exciting new quiz show, hosted by Rodger Corser. In this game 81 Aussies go head-to-head on a massive high-tech stage, each starting on a square of a giant grid tied to their trivia specialty. Contestants battle neighbouring players in fast-paced trivia duels, with winners claiming more territory on the floor. The game plays out over a season, with $AUD 200K up for grabs for the last player standing. Bonus prizes go to those with the most territory at the end of each episode. It’s brains, strategy, and suspense, ideal for friends and family to play along at home.

Created by John de Mol and launched in the Netherlands in 2023, The Floor can be watched on Channel 9 and 9NOW here in Australia.
Claire Hooper’s House of Games
The show features four celebrities competing over five consecutive days in a series of fun and quirky quiz rounds. Points are awarded based on daily performance, with Friday’s scores doubled. Each night, one celebrity will be crowned the winner, scoring bragging rights and some quirky House of Games merch. At week’s end, all scores are tallied, and the top player takes home the coveted House of Games trophy. Claire Hooper brings a fresh Aussie twist to the format.

ABC Australia launched Claire Hooper’s House of Games in April, offering an Aussie take on the hit U.K. quiz show Richard Osman’s House of Games. It can be viewed on ABC and streamed on ABC iView. Originally it was produced by Banijay UK’s Remarkable Entertainment for the BBC, the local version is produced by Endemol Shine Australia.
Stranded on Honeymoon Island

Voiced by Jackie O, this daring new reality series drops 12 singles onto a remote South Pacific Island in a radical search for love. Stripped of devices, distractions, and modern dating norms, players must build a connection from day one. Following a speed dating event, couples are quickly matched and ‘married’ before being left to survive for 21 days on a deserted island wearing nothing but their wedding gear.
Where to Watch Stranded on Honeymoon Island
Based on a hit Danish format, the show has been promoted as coming soon in May 2025 having originally been set to air in 2024. This version is produced by Endemol Shine Australia and can be viewed on Channel 7 and 7plus.
The Golden Bachelor
Australia’s first Golden Bachelor is Barry “Bear” Myrden, a widowed father originally from Canada with three adult children. It is being hosted by Samantha Armytage and is touted as being a real heartwarming series, as a very charming Bachelor searches for a soulmate to share life’s later adventures. The women vying for his attention have plenty of life experience, ready to embrace new possibilities and form a lasting connection. It’ll be different from the previous series which Aussies have been used to seeing.
Where to Watch The Golden Bachelor
Originating from the US, an Australian version of The Golden Bachelor has been commissioned for showing across the Nine Network including 9Now. This marks the first Australian iteration of the Bachelor franchise to air on Nine instead of Network 10. The series is produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production Australia.
Survivor: Australia v The World

This special all-star season celebrates 10 years of Australian Survivor on the network. Set in Samoa, the shortened season brings back 14 former players from around the world. They will be split into two tribes – one made up of Aussie contestants and the other made up of international players. They will then go head-to-head in classic Survivor challenges, all battling and fighting for the title of Sole Survivor and a prize of $AUD 250k.

Survivor: Australia V The World is the 13th series of Australian Survivor and is going to be shown on Network 10 and 10 Play in the middle of this year.
Once In a Lifetime
Fans Favourite Aussie vet Dr Chris Brown is coming back to our screens with Once in a Lifetime, a brand-new adventure series. First announced at the network’s upfronts last year, the show sees Chris travel to some of the most remote parts of the world in search of unforgettable animal encounters. But he won’t be going it alone as in a fun twist, he’ll be joined by some of Australia’s most entertaining personalities, stepping in as his untrained and unqualified vet assistants.
Well-known celebs to us Aussies including the likes of Mick Molloy, Kate Ritchie, and Amanda Keller will team up with Chris for the wild adventure. Amanda Keller, who co-hosts Jonesy & Amanda, has confirmed she’s part of the team in Africa, she last worked with Chris on Network 10 in 2022.
Where to Watch Once In a Lifetime
Tv viewers will be familiar with Dr Chris Brown being on Network 10 but note that he has switched and this show is on Channel 7 and 7Plus. Presently it is unclear when exactly the series will commence but it should be sometime during the winter according to recent press releases.
Big Brother
Leading the charge is new host Mel Tracina, best known as the cultural correspondent on The Cheap Seats. A longtime fan herself, Mel has been reported as saying, “I was one of the millions of Aussies captivated by Big Brother in the early noughties. The show has such a loyal and passionate fan base, and I’m excited to help bring back its original spirit minus the flip phones!”
The 2025 season will feature a new set of everyday Aussies as housemates, promising plenty of drama and unforgettable moments. Also, this year viewers will be able to interact with the house in real time, bringing a whole new level of engagement to the iconic show.
Where to Watch Big Brother

In what was a surprise announcement, the reality series is making a comeback down under… After being dropped by Channel 7 in 2024, the show is officially returning this year and it’s heading back to where it all began, to Network 10 and 10 Play. The homecoming is set to bring fresh energy and everything viewers loved about the OG reality tv show.
